I consider skating more than a hobby to me, it surrounds majority of my life even right now when i am unable to do it and i dont even care about the image, blading and good times with the people i blade with are the only things that concern me you should try and branch out, you might see theres more to life than rollerblading. |

Stand on the edge of a step with just the edge of your feet and lift up high then lower down slowly, letting your heels go down lower than the step this will strengthen your calves, achilles tendons, and your feet in general. Part of my two times a day exercise routine. the major force behind jumping is done with the calves and glutes. strengthening your calves wont do shit, that helps when your ankles can freely move but that wont do shit when your foot is locked into a skate boot. do weighted squats pushing through your heel, do deep squats slowly stopping at half way for 10 seconds and practice jumping on shit... seriously. its about technique too. |

i only read the first page but im pretty sure half the people who hate on illegals are fucking bitches who just listened to their parents. they are here for a better life. they work illegally for little pay and they work their fucking ass off. most of the 'jobs' they get are under the table for much much MUCH less pay then you faggots would get. its BUSINESS, you work for less, people will want you. grow the fuck up and start your own business and see how hard it is to pay real workers. learn a little about the world before you spit back what mommy and daddy told you. shut the fuck up already. |

i get what max is saying and hes right. but they guy is basically doing parkour tricks on blades, regardless of what the true meaning of parkour is just the fact that they are tricks mean its not parkour. doing a kong isnt parkour, getting over the obstacle is the parkour. loosely translated parkour is fluid motion so theoretically skating in general is a form of parkour no, not at all. to put this shit to rest. his skating is DOPE i love to see a new fresh bag of moves, unfortunately its not new. hes just doing variations of things already done, or borrowing techniques from parkour or free running. its ILL to see him going somewhere most dont, its just not new, so its not the future. /thread |

![]() hahahaha sorry i was pmsing. anyway, parkour is not a physical thing. its a mental thing, its an idea. parkour isnt like skating, we dont go out to do tricks or do specific movements. its purely about overcoming your environment, thats why i say its not a physical thing. the techniques we use are obviously physical, but parkour itself is your mindset. its about going from a to b, adapting to each situation you are in. theres no preset things like royales or soul grinds. its just going from one place to another. look i love parkour, im very passionate about it. he isnt incorporating parkour into his skating, hes borrowing techniques that we use to practice parkour, not the actual idea of parkour. its hard to understand unless you do it. but seriously, its not the same thing. plus this is amall, i REALLY dont give a fuck about what you think. its just REALLY fun to stir shit up here because its so god damn easy. |

you are a fucking moron, because you are a moron trying to go against me ill go into details. parkour is not a physical thing. its the IDEA of going from point A to point B as fast and efficiently as possible. no tricks, no spins, flips or other bullshit. therefor skating CANT physically incorporate parkour into it. you can borrow techniques we use, you cant incorporate parkour because skating is based on doing tricks and uses special equipment. that alone makes it impossible to incorporate parkour. secondly they arent sponsoring anything parkour related, they are free runners. they run around and jump off shit and do flips, completely different from parkour. they dont even know the meaning of parkour. im not butthurt, i just dont appreciate people like you thinking they know shit about something they dont even do. do some research and then come back to me. we can sit down and have a discussion like adults at that point, until then you are talking out of your ass. |

You actually can get sponsored for it and even join teams, heres a professional site: Urban Freeflow actually your totally wrong. hardly anyone in the parkour community respects them. they made our art into a joke, we have a highly regarded philosophy that includes no competition. those stupid brits were the people who created the " free run/ parkour world championships" when the guy who founded parkour and the rest of the people who practiced with him werent invited and were totally against it. that site and everyone who works there are fake ass faggots. |

just go skate to have fun, dont focus on learning that new grind. just roll around your park, flow and use your legs and arms. you would be really suprised what you could come up with given a few hours of shitting around. |

well I have watched some of my friends do parkour at my college, never tried myself, but I honestly don't think that someone could be sponsored parkourer (idk what they are called sorry). nor do i think that we should incorporate that into our riding. let us rollerblade, and let them parkour, two different things, let them stay that way. theres no secret to parkour, its nothing special. if you think like an animal and just traverse any terrain in front of you in the most efficient way you can you are doing parkour. give it a shot, its really good to build total body strength and have fun at the same time. |

phase, how many bladers do you see doing this? youd be suprised, i do this shit when i get around to skating. its alot more fun than grinding. grinding is like the most boring fucking thing in the world. people need to start being more creative, we have two boots with wheels, we should be doing some CRAZY fucking shit. learn to use the wheels under your feet, not just the h blocks. |

btw, coming from a traceur. skating aint got SHIT on parkour. skating is really really constrictive, parkour gives you such a sense of freedom that you cant even comprehend until you train and get really good at it. /thread now shut the fuck up |

let me set the record straight, you CANT incorporate parkour into skating. you can however take techniques we use like the kong vault (shown in this dudes skating many times). parkour is about using NOTHING but the human body to overcome your environment, not about jumping around and running up walls. that means no special equipment (skates). this is just a guy with a new style, its just variations of monkey plants. its not really anything totally new and unique. people have been monkey planting shit for years, in fact ive seen chris edwards do it over launch boxes im pretty sure. and rafacarv you are a fucking idiot, stop talking about parkour. theres no such thing as a "sponsored traceur" its not a fucking extreme sport. you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. |

i myself have skated the alchemy frames, same exact thing as these frames...and they were, by far, the BEST frames ive ever had.. all you fuckers talking shit NEVER tried them. its not a knock off of able or mooks. able freestyles sucked dick, mooks are designed differently then these and thats totally obvious with how the h-block is designed. finally input from someone who isnt a dumb fuck. |
