atoms have been broken down to the point where there were +100 subatomic particles
as they were broken down they became even more confusing and inexplicable
the way they acted could only be described as impossible since they seemed to move at the speed of light, 2 places at same time, idk
but really they just got out of hand so i believe scientists said fuck it and put the number at 23 subatomic particles
and the whole electron cloud thing is an example
we understand it kind of but having the electrons be in an area but at the same time it's just a possibility of where they are and we kind actually find them or whatever

atoms and molecules didn't seem possible before we had such powerful microscopes but now we understand it
and this brings up how the farther we break down the atom the more confusing and nonsensical it gets since the smaller particles seem to defy laws of physics and make no sense to our current understanding of the world
